2019 “Building a Better Bay” Campaign Branding for Bay County Chamber of Commerce
Strong community branding depends on consistency across every touchpoint.
For the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, the 2019 “Building a Better Bay” campaign was designed to create a unified visual identity that could extend across print materials, event promotion, social graphics, environmental signage, membership collateral, and recurring business engagement initiatives throughout the year.
Burning Passion Media, in collaboration with GORGEOUS, developed a flexible campaign system centered around a custom illustrated cityscape visual language paired with bold typography, layered environmental imagery, and cohesive brand messaging. The campaign identity was built to support both large-scale Chamber initiatives and smaller recurring events while maintaining immediate visual recognition across all communication platforms.
The resulting work included event campaigns, social media graphics, digital signage, membership materials, informational collateral, and branded promotional layouts designed to reinforce community engagement and regional business development. The “Building a Better Bay” identity became a recurring visual framework used across multiple Chamber communication initiatives throughout 2019.
The campaign successfully balanced professionalism with community accessibility by combining structured corporate branding with approachable, modern visual storytelling. The final system allowed the Chamber to maintain consistency across a wide range of event types and outreach efforts while strengthening overall brand recognition throughout Bay County.
