Medical communication carried different expectations than traditional advertising.
The information had to remain clinically accurate while still being understandable under stress, fatigue, and emotionally overwhelming situations. Educational materials needed to guide attention quickly, simplify complex information, and support recognition of high-risk warning signs without overwhelming the reader with unnecessary visual noise.
Burning Passion Media developed a series of healthcare-focused educational infographics designed around patient education and emergency clinical recognition. The work translated evidence-based medical guidance into structured visual systems that prioritized readability, urgency hierarchy, and information flow while remaining approachable to non-clinical audiences. Typography, spacing, color contrast, and section organization were used intentionally to separate normal recovery expectations from escalation criteria and emergency warning signs.
The final materials balanced healthcare professionalism with public-facing accessibility. Clinical terminology remained clear without becoming overly technical, and the layouts were designed to support rapid scanning in both patient education and provider-facing environments. Rather than treating the infographics as static documents, the work focused on creating visual education systems capable of communicating critical information quickly and consistently across healthcare communication surfaces.
